Main Event Courses (Nov 1- Nov 3)
Each morning, everyone gathers in a common location to review what the overall day looks like - weather conditions, wind, swell and, of course the tidal flows. Based on this, the coaches and guides along with input from participants, of course, determine exciting venues to work in and design classes for various paddling levels. We strive to use the conditions mother nature provides to create the best learning environments. Experience in advanced conditions/tide races will be especially helpful for anyone pursuing the British Canoeing Advanced Sea Leader award. Potential course venues run from Jamestown RI to Stonington Borough CT. Below are example courses we have run in past years.
